This panel explains how this mine dates back to 1692, and how intriguing rare earth minerals such as cerite (Ce9Fe(SiO4)6(SiO3)(OH)3), ortite (a synonym for allanite, CeCa2FeAl2Si3O11), törnebohmite (Ce2Al(SiO4)2OH), bastnäsite (Ce,LaCO3F), and fluorocerite (CeF3) have been found here.
